Auto Shop Controller, developed by Computer Perfect Direct, Inc, a New York based corporation, heron noted as CP.
AUTO SHOP CONTROLLER – DESKTOP EDITION IS SUBSCRIPTION BASED SOFTWARE.
By agreeing to this “Subscription Based Software” license you understand the terms of this definition.
The Auto Shop Controller – Desktop Edition installs on your computer's local hard drive. Furthermore the data that is created, edited, and retrieved by this application is stored on your stand alone computer or on a computer on your local network. This software is supplied to you without any upfront fees. However, there is a monthly, self renewing, subscription fee for using this software. The software utilizes your internet connection to contact CP’s server to validate the status of your account at each logon. If you close your account or if your account is not in good standing, the software will not run and you will lose access to your data through the Auto Shop Controller - Desktop Edition software. HOWEVER, you will be given the option of exporting your data such as customers, vehicles, histories, parts, services and employees into a Microsoft Excel file format.

D) All upgrades, at no additional charge, to our Online Editon software
E) “Virtually No Hold Time” Toll Free Technical Support.
F) Unlimited use of our Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) validation service.
G) 10% Discount on all “Service Due” reminder cards purchased from CP
H) Web site design and hosting (additional terms and conditions apply)
It is stated that the application, Auto Shop Controller – Desktop Edition is the intellectual property of CP. By agreeing to this license you understand that it entitles you to the right to use this application, including all the additional services noted immediately above, set forth by the conditions and restrictions of this license agreement. In no way does the ownership of this software transfer to you. You may not alter, decompile or in any way change the software from the state in which you received it.
Upon checking the “Agree” box, known as the “Clickable License,” upon the initial sign on, you agree to the following terms and conditions and policies (The “Agreement”) governing your use of Auto Shop Controller - Desktop Edition. If you accept this agreement on behalf of a computer or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind your company to these terms and conditions. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with these terms, you must click “Disagree” and you may not use this application. At that point you will not be billed.
As indicated above, your subscription includes no upfront fees and sixty days of free access. After your sixty day period has passed, you will be automatically billed on the 14th. of each month, in advance, a fixed fee of $ 53.95 (USD). The first billing period will be prorated. You may cancel at any time; you are not obligated to any commitment. No refunds will be granted.
