Reminder Postcards

The AutoShop Controller gives your shop the ability to send reminder postcards to your customers who have the following service due:

Oil Change:
Inspection:
Tune-Up:
General Service:

This postcard system has been totally rewritten to provide complete flexibility in formatting your postcards to bring those customers back in for service!

To work correctly, please turn the following feature on in Customize / Print Settings / Track mileage and next services at completion of invoice.  This should be checked.
When you go to complete an invoice the following screen will now appear:

Enter in the customers next service due dates.  Based upon this information for this vehicle the system can send out service due reminder cards.
To generate postcards please do the following.  From the main menu please click "Customers".  From there a typical submenu will appear and there you choose Postcard Reminder System. You will then see the following screen:


You can pick a date range here to select the customers to send reminder cards. Simply click on the calendar to select the date range and hit ENTER to select the date.

Example:  Do your postcards on the 15th of the month.  If today was November 15 then I would mail from November 1 to the next month, which for this example is December 31.  
All customers who have a service coming up plus customers who have not had there car serviced will get a friendly service due card.  This works so well.
Also, on the bottom of the postcards you can print a banner message that can inform your customers of specials, your 24hr. towing service, extra friendly service, etc.
When you click on the modify button, you will be able to completely customize your text and the position of the print on your postcards. The need only be done once to set your data to print out in the format that you select.



Once your date range is set, you hit the PRINT button and the following window will pop up:


At this point you can choose to print to the screen or print to your choice of printers.
