Vehicle Service History

A major advantage for the user utilizing The AutoShop Controller software is that AutoShop stores "all" vehicle repair orders

There are two different types of history.

First: Service History  (sh)  - recommended option
Second: Customer History (ch)

Example:  You have a customer on the screen who has three vehicles.
You may only need to review all invoices related to the customers "2002 Nissan Pathfinder".  Just by tying SH at the command prompt in the WorkScreen

this will bring up all completed repair tickets for this vehicle only.

If you need to review all invoices, for all his vehicles, for the customer on the screen you would just type CH at the command prompt which will bring up all invoices related to this customer, regardless of the vehicle.

Navigation through the Service/Customer History is fairly easy.  The top section is the list of invoices for that customer.  The middle section will show the detail (parts and services) on the invoice chosen in the top section.  The bottom section shows the transaction information for the invoice chosen in the top section.  Clicking on the checks button at the bottom will change the bottom section from transaction info to check info for that invoice.  You can switch the order of the invoices from oldest first to newest first and back, and you can look up invoices based on invoice number or keyword.

The top section is what you scroll through to see different invoices.  Use the mouse to point and click the section you want to scroll through.

This toolbar appears on the bottom of the service/customer history screen.  To re-print an invoice that is appearing on the screen just his the "Print" button.
The other options are self explanatory.
