Eltron
If you are using an Eltron printer, and the bar code does not print out, check the inventory description to see if it has quotation marks
The Eltron printer receives certain text data with the actual data in quotation marks.
When you use quotation marks in the size and description fields what this ends up doing is it tells the Eltron printer that the text data string being sent is completed. The printer interprets the rest of the text data as literal commands, which it does not recognize and consequently does not print out anything after the initial text.
Example:
Field data for description: 10 " Plate
What the Eltron printer sees: "10 " Plate".
Anything after the second quotation is taken as a function or literal command.
