Upgrading from the DOS AutoShop Controller
It is highly recommended that you import your data from the Auto Shop Controller for DOS. First in your DOS software you must perform an "end of day/closeout" procedure. Then import your data from the DOS software. However, if you're using the Accounts Receivable portion of the DOS software, please print statements first, and then run your end of day/closeout. To import your DOS data, click on Management, Import Auto Dos Data.
Start to import your data one section at a time.

2. Jobs
3. Customer / Vehicles
ETC.
Please note that the DOS Auto Data must be on this computer or on your network in order for the system to find the data. You will have to navigate to DOS Auto Folder. Usually found in the \AUTO directory.
The import function speed will vary greatly. Please be patient during this process.
After the import procedure is complete, please perform a Re-index / Clean and Pack.
